Consistent Love

How beautiful it is, out of all the things in our lives that are changing, God is consistent. His love for us is consistent and unchanging. I'm so stuck on the fact His love is perfect. He's never selfish or manipulative. He's never quick tempered, impulsive, unkind, unjust, or unfaithful. He loves us in our lowest and weakest points. He saw us and sees us when we are broken. He doesn't want us for what good we have done. Afterall, He doesn't need us. He chooses us not because of who we are, but because of who He is. He is love.
